Registration Deadline
All conference registrations and change requests must be postmarked by June 10th, 2013 and received on or before June 13th, 2013. After this date, Exodus International cannot guarantee space availability or receipt of registration and payment.
Payment of Conference Registration Fees
All delegates must submit applicable conference fees in US dollars. Payment must be made in full to Exodus International — no deposits are accepted.
Payment of conference fees may be made online or by fax, with your American Express, VISA, or MasterCard credit cards. If you are registering by mail, you may submit a personal check or money order with your completed registration form. Returned checks are subject to a $25 handling fee.
Delegate Confirmation and Receipt
An automatic confirmation package will be sent by email for those who register unless U.S. Mail is selected on the registration form. The confirmation package will include more conference details and items of particular interest to conference delegates, which is all available on the conference website.
Procedure for Changes to Policies
In the event that Exodus International is required to change any of these stated policies, changes will be made on the official conference website (www.exodusfreedom.org), and conference delegates will be notified by email of such changes.
Cancellation Policies
In the event a confirmed reservation must be canceled, there are four cancellation options available to you. To be eligible, all cancellation notices must be submitted by sending in a completed Cancellation Application either by email or mail and must be received by the stated deadline. - Approved requests submitted on or before March 21, 2013 may receive a full refund; after this date and before April 20, 2013 will receive a 50% refund. There will be NO refunds for cancellations made after April 20, 2013; each refund option is subject to a $25 administrative fee.
- To transfer your registration and accommodations (if applicable) to the person of your choice, Exodus requests that you notify the Exodus Office no later than June 9, 2013.
- For those wishing to transfer their conference fees to the Conference Assistance Fund, Exodus requests a minimum of 20 days prior to the first day of the conference to give us sufficient time to notify the recipient of the scholarship. (You will receive a tax-deductible receipt)
- Convert your conference fees into a tax-deductible donation to support Exodus International.
Registered delegates who fail to show up for the Exodus Freedom Conference will NOT be eligible for a refund.
Code of Conduct
Exodus International requires that all participants at the Exodus freedom Conference adhere to standards of conduct in keeping with their commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ during the conference. This includes abstaining from all forms of immoral behavior.
It is expected that all participants attending the conference will either be in agreement with the Exodus International Doctrinal and Policy statements, or will be respectful of them while finding out more about the beliefs and practices of Christianity and of Exodus International ministries.
While frank and open discussion is valuable, disruption of the conference is not acceptable, including but not limited to: interrupting conference presenters or activities; distributing non-Exodus International literature; campaigning for alternative religions, philosophical or political views; on-site demonstrations; seeking sexual contacts; harassing others; abusing alcohol or narcotics; or sharing registration with other persons.
Failure to abide by this code of conduct is grounds for dismissal from the conference. Persons asked to leave for violation of the Code of Conduct will not be eligible for refunds.
Exodus International reserves the right to refuse any delegate their registration, or to remove a delegate from the conference, if there is reasonable cause to believe that he or she may endanger themselves or others by attending, or has endangered themselves or others in attendance. Persons removed from the conference under these circumstances will not be eligible for refunds.
Youth and Children
Any minor, 17 years or younger, must be registered by a parent or legal guardian, must complete an Underage Policy Agreement Form, and may attend workshops with a parent or guardian. Children under the age of 13 are NOT allowed in workshop sessions.
Anyone 18 or older is allowed to register as an adult delegate.
Youth Housing
Exodus will NOT provide roommate assistance for youth 17 and under; they must be housed with parents or legal guardian.
Special Note to Youth and Students
Please note that Exodus is aware of the growing desire among many teenagers to attend the annual conference for their own personal needs (not just because their parents are attending the event). Exodus International is committed to serving the needs of teenagers and college-age students. The Exodus Freedom conference will include special events just for you!
Children Not Registered for the Conference
Exodus allows children 12 and under to attend the morning and evening general sessions, when accompanied by a parent or guardian who is registered for the event. Due to the sensitive and adult nature of the topics discussed at the workshop classes and special interest groups, no one under the age of 13 is allowed entrance into breakout sessions. Minors (age 13-17) may attend general sessions with a parent or guardian, but must be registered delegates to attend workshop sessions.
Press and Media Policy Statement
All rights to any and all live, streaming and/or recorded sessions from any and all Exodus conferences and/or meetings of any kind are the sole and exclusive property of Exodus International. Absolutely NO content of any kind being shared at this or any Exodus conference and/or meeting of any kind may be shared, used, duplicated and/or quoted by any person, entity or group without prior express written consent from Exodus International. This express restriction specifically applies to and includes, but is not limited to, any and all members of (or any persons associated with) the media, press and/or bloggers interested in referencing and/or reporting on or about any and all types or forms of information presented and/or shared at any and all Exodus conferences and/or meetings of any kind, specifically including the broadcast in any form of this Freedom Conference. If you are a member of (or any person associated with) the media, press and/or a blogger please contact Exodus International to make a request for express written permission and a copy of our media guidelines by which you agree to follow in any and all such circumstance(s).
By registering for the conference, you do hereby expressly agree to adhere to the above stated Press and Media Policy Statement; and further, you do hereby specifically state that you ARE NOT a member of, or associated in any way with, the media, press and/or a blogger OR that if you are a member of, or associated in any way with, the media, press and/or a blogger you have already received express written permission from Exodus International and have agreed, or do hereby expressly agree, to adhere to all the media guidelines provided by Exodus International.
Policy Agreement and Liability Release
All conference delegates must sign the following agreement during registration or when they register:
“I understand that the subject matter at the Exodus Freedom Conference may be potentially unsettling. I voluntarily and personally assume responsibility for my participation in any and all aspects of the conference and release Exodus International, its board, staff and any other conference teachers or contributors from any claims whatsoever for damages alleged as a direct or indirect result of participation in this conference.”
