Conference Tracks
In addition to powerful corporate worship and inspirational messages shared in the General Sessions, the Exodus Freedom Conference offers a variety of smaller tracks which include over 50 workshops, fellowship times, and small group opportunities.*
Gatherings, activities, and small group breakout sessions are designed to serve the major groups of conference participants. These groups include Men, Women, Parents & Family, Spouses, Married Couples, Pastors & Ministry Leaders, and Youth & Students.
Here are brief descriptions of each track offered at this year’s conference:
Exodus Men
Events in this track provide unique opportunities to help men grow in biblical masculinity, healthy relationships, and maturity through community, strength, accountability, and strategy. Join your brothers in the battle!
“I could really feel the power and presence of God in every facet of the conference. I have been struggling in secret for many years, and I so desperately need freedom. The conference gave me the “push” I needed to start my own personal recovery.” - Keith
Oasis (Women)
We have planned group times that will address female sexuality, identity, relationships, and wounds. Gather together with other women for a time of reflection, conversation and sharing in a safe environment of genuine understanding, compassion, truth and trust.
“This conference was an incredible blessing. I was not sure what to expect when I first came, but I found people who understood what was going on and showed nothing but love and encouragement to us. It also challenged me spiritually.” – Female, 52 – Indiana
Parents and Families
We are pleased to offer a special conference track for parents and family with loved ones who either struggle with or have embraced homosexuality. The small group times provide a safe environment to share honestly with other parents who understand and receive ministry support through prayer, practical advice, instruction, and encouragement.
“I enjoyed the opportunity to talk with people one-on-one about my experiences and theirs. Everyone seemed honest and genuine in their responses; the Conference inspires it.” – Fred, father
“I went from self pity and despair to hope. I fell more in love with Jesus from my encounters with His great power, mercy and love. I fell more in love with my precious daughter who is in the lifestyle.”
- Babs, mother
Steadfast (Married Couples and Spouses)
Steadfast provides married couples and spouses a special one day conference packed with teaching, small group discussion times, and ministry. The day ends with a special banquet dinner just for married couples and spouses. This one-day conference will only take place on Thursday, but married couples and spouses are also invited to attend a nightly fellowship time immediately following the evening general sessions. For spouse specifically, there will be workshops offered at various times throughout the week. Steadfast is for married couples only where one or both spouses struggle with/ battle same sex attractions.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for having this conference. My husband and I will never be the same.” -Female, 49 – California
Pastors and Ministry Leaders
If you are a minister, teacher, or leader within the body of Christ who is desiring to become better equipped in addressing this controversial topic and ministering to individuals and families within your local communities, this is your track! These smaller sessions will provide biblical and practical insight from leaders within Exodus, a ministry that continues to provide ministry support to tens of thousands of individuals for over 34 years now. There will also be a special one-day training and equipping conference offered on Saturday called Love Won Out.
“As a pastor beginning to learn how to minister to homosexuals in the church, I leave with the compassion to minister to those struggling, the conviction that God’s mercy and power can overcome the sin, the courage to stand up for my fellow Christians who struggle, and the course to follow as God would use me to lead the church in welcoming home our lost.” -Male, 36 – California
Xscape (Students and Youth)
The student track is restricted to those 16-25 and will discuss issues relevant to the next generation. Xscape provides students a daily program where they can connect with others through interactive small group time, hear teachings and discuss issues relevant to their generation, visit with old friends, and make new friends, which often provides ongoing support beyond the conference.
“I came reluctantly and naively thinking that it would all be teens dragged there by their parents and all the speakers would be “holier-than-thou” fire and brimstone preachers, and this was no at all what I found. Thank you for your attitudes and helping me to know what mine should be.” – Female, Nebraska
* Please note that conference groups and speakers are subject to change. Some classes have restrictions, such as “Leaders Only”, “Men Only”, “Women Only”, and “Students Only”.
